When you walk into RunLift, you’ll feel the shift.
The sound of the treadmills whizzing and the weights hitting the floor.
Its focus. Its momentum.
Everyone here is working through something, and you’re part of that the moment you step in.
You don’t have to be the fittest in the room.
You don’t need to keep up with anyone else.
You just need to show up.
Every session blends movement with mindset. It’s challenging, yes, but it’s also supportive. This is where people come to build strength they can feel long after class ends.
Not just in their muscles, but in how they handle life.
RunLift is Therapy’s signature cardio and strength fusion class. Combining treadmill intervals with functional resistance training in a format that’s constantly evolving and never boring.
You’ll move between high-energy run sets and structured strength blocks, with expert coaching to guide you every step of the way.
Classes are designed to:
Build cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength
Elevate mood, focus, and resilience
Push you past where you thought your limit was — and remind you you’ve got more in the tank
Every class is scalable, coach-supported, and driven by the atmosphere of a room that’s dialled in and there to do the work together.
When paired in the right way, running and strength training form one of the most effective combinations for both the body and brain.
Running builds aerobic capacity, improves circulation, and teaches pacing under pressure.
Lifting builds lean muscle mass, joint integrity, and total-body control.
But when you combine them with intentional programming? You unlock a whole new level of mental and physical adaptation.
Research continues to show that the combination of cardio and strength training — known as concurrent training — has powerful benefits when programmed correctly:
Interval-based running has been shown to increase BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor) — a chemical that helps the brain grow new cells and stay resilient under stress.
A 2024 study published in Nature Scientific Reports found that high-intensity interval training (HIIT) led to measurable improvements in memory, focus, and inhibitory control — especially after just 4 weeks.
Strength training, on the other hand, improves executive function, helping with things like decision-making, focus, and emotional regulation. It’s also associated with protective effects on the hippocampus — the brain’s memory centre.
A Sydney University study showed that older adults who strength trained twice a week had less shrinkage in brain regions associated with dementia.
Concurrent training (the combo of the 2), supports metabolic health and longevity, as well as ‘psychological resilience’, the variety and challenge of CT appear to translate into better adherence, self-efficacy, and coping capacity.
While both are powerful on their own, researchers are finding that combining cardio and strength gives the widest range of cognitive and psychological benefits. In other words:
Cardio improves adaptability and learning
Strength sharpens focus and emotional control
Together, they build mental resilience
When you switch between lifting and focused running intervals, you’re not just training your body — you’re rewiring your brain to handle stress more effectively.
Each session is designed with a purpose.
Endurance-focused, full-body effort.
Expect longer running intervals, sweaty transitions, and programming that challenges your cardiovascular engine and mental pacing.
Compound lifts, sled pushes and inclines.
Heavier weights, fewer reps, and a focus on getting stronger each session.
Single-zone, single-focus.
Longer efforts with more space to progress your strength or running foundation week after week. With structured programming over a 4-week cycle.
High-energy and high-output.
Fast transitions, explosive blocks, and full community energy. A powerful way to close your week or launch your weekend.
Targeted resistance training.
Isolate, burn, and build strength in the places you want to feel switched on and strong.
RunLift is built with smart programming, supportive community, and a coaching team that knows how to get the best from you without breaking you (or shouting at you).
Each class supports:
Long-term progress, not just short-term burn
Autonomy, so you can own your pace and your process
Real connection, with the people sweating next to you, and with yourself
Every rep, every round, every run teaches you something: about your limits, your mindset, and your ability to keep going.
If you’re ready to explore running and strength training , this is where you’ll find your edge, and build the strength to hold it.
