Step inside the Cycle studio at Therapy and you’ll find more than spin bikes.
You’ll find a candlelit space built with intention.
Beats that move the room as one.
And a community riding not just to sweat, but to feel something.
This is Cycle. A spin class with a Therapy twist.
So, if you’ve been searching for Spin classes on the Gold Coast, or for a way to move both the body and mind then look no further. Keep reading to see what happens when movement and music combine in one immersive group fitness class.
There’s a reason we curated the space and program in the way we did, dark room, tiered rows and mirrors behind the instructor. It’s all been expertly designed to move exercise beyond feeling like a punishment or something you ‘have’ to do, and into something that creates feelings of of joy, belonging and connectedness.
Moving to music, especially in unison with others, has powerful effects on both body and mind:
It activates the brain’s reward system, flooding you with dopamine and endorphins
Moving rhythmically with others can help shift the body from sympathetic (fight or flight) to parasympathetic (rest and restore). It acts like a nervous system reset. This has deep overlap with Polyvagal Theory, which suggests that feeling safe, seen, and in rhythm with others helps regulate stress and trauma responses.
It enhances endurance and lowers perceived effort, making you feel stronger than you think you are and the ride easier than it might actually be!
It’s not about performance. It’s about connection, through sound, sweat, and shared rhythm.
Every Cycle class at Therapy includes a unique moment we call the Therapy Track. A freestyle, introspective ‘moving meditation’ towards the end of the ride.
Why?
Because just as rhythm riding energises the body, stillness reconnects the mind.
During this track, music slows. Lights drop. And it’s just you and the music. It’s a part of the workout that helps you reflect, reset, and tap into something deeper.
Mindful movement has been shown to:
Reduce cortisol (stress hormone) – which is why it is placed towards the end of a class.
Improve interoception (your ability to sense your internal state)
Build resilience to future stress
You’ll leave with more than a physical high. You’ll leave with clarity, feelings of connectedness and energy to get you through the rest of the day.
The OG. The full rhythm ride experience. Expect jogs, sprints, climbs, upper body resistance, and our signature Therapy Track to help you land before one final euphoric push to take you home.
This is rhythm riding, Therapy-style.
Same format. New vibe every week.
Ride to Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, disco, RnB, drum & bass—whatever gets you moving. We take requests, we ride the feels, and every playlist tells a story.
New to the bike? Returning to the rhythm?
This is your space.
We ride to the beat, always—but with less choreography and more coaching. You’ll build the foundations of rhythm riding, gain confidence, and feel the magic of moving as one.
🕔 Tuesdays 5:00PM
Note: Beginners are welcome in all classes—this one just helps you build your base.
Love the rhythm but want more grit?
Cycle X strips back the choreo and brings the heat with interval-based pushes, heart-rate shifts, and resistance tracks—all in rhythm, all with intention.
🕔 Mondays 5:15PM
🕘 Fridays 8:45AM
🕣 Saturdays 8:30AM
Want to level up your rhythm riding?
This 45-minute format is designed to help you build confidence and flow through longer choreography blocks. It runs in 3-week cycles to break down the moves, build technique, and hype you up without pressure.
🕔 Fridays 5:30AM
Our rhythm ride—just heavier.
This is for strength-seekers and those building confidence.
Expect big climbs, slower sprints, and deeper burn. We turn down the speed and turn up the resistance.
Same candlelit vibe. Same music-led magic. Just heavier.
🕕 Tuesdays 6:30AM
All rides are candlelit.
All rides are beat-driven.
All rides are accessible for all ages and ability levels.
All rides are designed to help you feel empowered, euphoric, and connected—not just to the yourself, but to others.
